Who I Work With

Although I welcome clients from many backgrounds, my work often resonates with:

01
Asian and Asian American Adults

You may be navigating immigration stories, cultural dislocation, or intergenerational expectations around success, obedience, and emotional expression. You might feel caught between “being a good child” and wanting your own life. In our work, we make room for the anger, confusion, and grief that often go unspoken in Asian families, while honoring your cultural values rather than erasing them.

02
Thoughtful Professionals and Students

Many of my clients are high-achieving, analytical people who “look fine” from the outside but feel burned out, empty, or constantly on edge inside. You may be extremely good at thinking and problem-solving, yet find it difficult to rest, feel, or ask for support. Together, we explore how your strengths can stop being weapons against yourself.

03
People Grieving Loss or Change

Grief is not only about death. It can be the loss of a relationship, health, identity, country, or version of yourself that no longer exists. I provide a space where your grief doesn’t have to be minimized, rushed, or compared to others. Instead, we let it unfold at your pace and look for meaning that feels true to you.

04
Individuals Seeking Deeper Self-Understanding

You may not have a clear “diagnosis,” but you feel that something in your life is misaligned. Perhaps you keep choosing similar partners, struggling with boundaries, or feeling like an outsider everywhere. Our work can focus on identity, values, and building a more coherent story of who you are — one that is not defined only by productivity, compliance, or trauma.

In my current role at Pacific Clinics’ Asian Pacific Family Center, I also work with individuals facing serious mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, psychosis, and bipolar disorder. This experience allows me to hold both everyday emotional struggles and more complex clinical presentations with steadiness and care.
